The Alerta Sensaflex 4500 SensaGel Heel Slope Mattress is a very high risk profiling memory foam mattress built with a high density base, memory foam top, and a sloping heel section with gel memory foam.
Heel slope: assists pressure redistribution by alleviating pressure from the high risk heel area. SensaGel® heel section: gel-infused memory foam to prevent pressure sores on the heel.
The mattress features a section of v-cut base foam which creates additional air movement for enhanced pressure relieving properties, providing effective comfort, care and pressure redistribution for users in hospital, nursing and care home environments.
The cover is machine washable — set the main wash to 65°C for no less than 10 minutes or 95°C for no less than 3 minutes. The cover can be tumble dried on low heat not exceeding 60°C. The foam can be autoclaved at 134°C.
